TRIP REPORT | LATAM Business Class on Boeing 767-300ER

LATAM Business Class Meal

TRIP REPORT: LATAM BUSINESS CLASS

In May 2016 I flew on LATAM Business Class from New York JFK to Toronto YYZ – a rather short one hour long flight. I was able to get a very cheap ticket. In the end I paid less for this awesome Business Class experience than any other airline could offer in Economy Class. Comparing this flight to other carriers offering the New York to Toronto flight LATAM was the best choice since they were using a Boeing 767-300ER long haul aircraft with real Business Class seats. Furthermore Lounge access in New York JFK before the flight was included. Other airlines like American Airlines do not offer Lounge access to Business Class passengers on this route.

Check out the video below to learn more about the flight:

LATAM Business Class Cabin:

The Premium Business Class Cabin on the Boeing 767 had 30 lie-flat seats in a 2-2-2 configuration. This is a good setup as most passengers will have direct isle access. Only when sitting at the window seats you will need to climb over someone when the seat is in lie-flat mode. The leg room was extremely generous.

LATAM 767 Business Class SeatsMy seat in row 5. Just on a side note – this seat row will be served last! On a 7 hour flight to South America this might not affect your experience but on this 1 hour long flight it did.

Service:

The meal/snack was only served while we had already started our descent into Toronto YYZ Airport. Other passengers in rows 1-5 A, B (other side of the cabin) already finished their meal by this time.

LATAM Business Class Meal

A chicken sandwich and a cheese croissant were served. As usual in Business Class you could get as many drinks as you order – and all come in real glasses. Overall the service was sufficient for a one hour flight in Business Class.
